Short biographical sketch of Prof Filomena Fezza
Dr Filomena Fezza is an Associate Professor in Biochemistry at the Faculty of Medicine & Surgery at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata.” She obtained her PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from “Tor Vergata”. Dr Fezza is a teacher of “Chemistry and Biochemistry,” at the University of Campus Biomedico of Roma as well as “Tor Vergata.” She is an author of at least 85 articles in international refereed journals with a total I.F. > 350 and H-index 45. Her interests embrace the metabolism and biosynthesis of biolipids, screening for potential protease inhibitors through multidisciplinary approach, the interactions of small molecules and proteins (enzymes and receptors) through computational analyzes and activity assays.
